Go big or go home right!…

The thing I love the most about this large design is you really get to see all the beautiful textured foliage that was used in Olivia’s bouquet. I enjoyed make it a feature, creating lots of negative space, which is so important in my designs…

The wild cow parsley is such a nice flower to press, the detail and colour preservation is so pretty. weaving them amongst the foliage along with the white snap dragons and veronica…

The heavier roses and ranunculus are more solid, featuring these in the middle and bottom of the frame, drawing your eye through the flowers…

I removed the centre of the roses before pressing, leaving just the outer shell of petals. This technique really helps reserve the colour and stops the rose from rotting in the centre during the pressing process…

The blue thistles add a subtle pop of colour and texture here and there…

I’d suggest thinking of where you’re going to display your wedding flower art before you choose which frame size you’d like to go for.
