Helena’s bouquet was packed with mainly foliage, with just a few dainty white flowers running throughout…
There were several different types of foliage which is so easy to press. It dries quickly and hardly ever fades, the detailing preserved is incredible…
These designs had lots of detail in each frame, featuring lots of foliage, using tiny pieces for contrast and texture…
Her bouquet had a few white thistles, veronica and small white roses…
The veronica can turn brown quite quickly when pressing, you have to catch them quickly before they turn, so I was pleased with the white preserved in these… The thistles need a little hammering once pressed, just to really get them super flat so they sit in the frames nicely… and the small white roses preserved so well, if you look closely, all the veins in the petals have turned a darker, creating a beautiful antique effect.
